San Jose Jazz Festival or as I like to say “Festivities” also known as Summer Fest is a much anticipated event as  any Jazz Festival anywhere. One hundred and nine acts over three days August 12-14 on ten stages not including the repertory around the downtown area of San Jose, all within easy walking distant of the Main Stage at Cesar Chavez Park.  If your desires where Jazz, Swing, Blues, Latin or other, you would have been in weekend Musical Heaven!

What also sets the San Jose Festivities apart from other Jazz venues is the vending, and food choices they have there. Never bring your own meals here, you’ll be sorry you didn’t explore the aroma’s and flavors so prevalent in the surroundings.
