Retouch Artist

Retouch Artist? Yea, that’s what I said when I first heard this description. Whatever happened to Photoshop Dude?  I guess with the design tools becoming ever more intuitive to the designers needs, there has to be another name given. In a way I guess retouching a photo could mean anything from lightening it by contrast to making a complete new image from the original. It’s no surprise that the human mind has an expansive imagination, and I get my fill just looking at artist work from many genres.
