Fashion Events

The word fashion is as iconic as the word beauty. The industrial world thrives on beauty and with that comes the creative garment artist. One can only imagine how many global magazines represent the fashion industry and today’s technology allows for millions of writers on subject as well. We call these new fashion editors (bloggers) and the name Fashionista applies to anyone who seems to up on the latest fashion trends. The biggest names in the fashion industry are synonymous with wealth, notoriety, and a branded lifestyle that many can only imagine or live vicariously through those magazines which picture the hottest runway models from Paris to Milan to New York wearing the latest designers have to offer.

I’ll try and list as many upcoming fashion runway shows in the San Francisco Bay Area as humanly possible considering the multitude of these events taking place somewhere on an almost weekly routine. There seems to be a challenge from not only designers but event planners wanting to get their name or brand attached to anything fashion related. While I see absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be a part of such an enormous industry I hate the bickering and cliquish environment that it sometimes produces by default I guess. I remember an expression ” there’s plenty of fish in the sea” but in reality there’s no truth to that as all things can be misused including and abundance of waste of natural resources as well as man made.
